Trixie is locked up in the spare bathroom because she thinks she can take the "strangers who will kill you" lol. she is a feisty little pooch. well that's all I have for now. ttfn!!

funky feelings
hello! today was a pretty normal saturday, I stayed up all night watching hulu and reading a book off and on. I finished the book then I slept most of the day. mid afternoon I went birthday shopping with my Boyfriend for his mothers birthday tomorrow. for some reason after I woke up I was in a very shut down mood. its been driving me crazy. I cant figure out what to do to break me out of it. I am literally going crazy. I feel so bored but then I don't want to do anything at all. I'll pick something up and then put it right back down. I know I need something but just can't put my finger on what is missing. I think I need a very intense hobby. maybe. does procrastinating count as a hobby? I should find out... later.
thats all for now I guess. I might drive up to see Randy while he is at work but I also might not. oh well. I should find something to do so that I have cool things to talk about on here. any ideas of what you would like to know about? leave a comment or 2 on things you think I should discuss or post about.
as always byl.

trips, decisions, and fun.
I made it back from Parker's wedding, it was quite a trip. it was amazing to see all of my family again after so long. some things change and others don't its nice to know that some things will never change no matter what happens in your life. this year has been crazy for me and its only March. I love the feeling I now have of being in control of my life and doing what I want for me. I have made tons of progress in taking over my life and letting it go how I want. but as with everything in life I have a ton more to do. I will be adding pictures and typing up a whole lot more soon... I hope.

Yearning for years gone by.
Last night as I was working I was thinking about times as a little kid and decided life is better when we are always looking for new things to discover. why do we choose to stop learning and exploring the world around us? why do we stop and say I'm okay with what I know and don't want to learn any more.

checking in
sooooo ya its that time when I think about this blog thing I started forever ago and realize its time to write some more.
I just woke up and am about to get ready to head into work. nothing like waking up after a bizarre dream and knowing you've gotta head into work. oh well.
I have now been at Nissan for a year. I am still single. I work 6 nights a week and sleep during the day. not a lot of social life for me. I do take time to travel when I can. I just got back from a wedding in michigan and am already trying to figure out how to pull of another trip in the near future. any tips on cheap flights and hotels?

I for some reason can never stick to keeping up with this Blog. No matter how many times I say I will I just don't.
work is going great. time is continuing to fly by. the weather is playing roller coaster with the temperature and I am just living day to day. not a whole lot changes with my life. I will need to write down some of the ideas that I have during the night as I work so that I will remember to write about them when I get home.
I would say see you soon but I honestly don't know when I will be back, or if this is even read by anyone. what a joy it is to have a blog and to be able to tell the world what you think in terrible English grammar and spelling. woo hoo.

New Home
Well the move is complete. I am now in my own apartment with everything I could want.... well except dishes... and a couch... and a table.... okay okay so not completely moved in. but I have internet and tv and all my books. I am a happy camper.
I think Sam is really liking the sun coming in the front window. I know it been a while since he had last been out in it.
I still need to do some shopping and collect the other things that I will need to live comfortable day to day life. but as of right now I am just happy to be done moving and settling in.
I hope that work school or what ever it is you do is great on this overcast day and that you find joy and happyniess. I most certainly will :)

no wait, what? really? cool.
Well Last night was pretty awesome. It started with me waking up at 415 and laying in bed till about 515 then I got up and skyped with my friend Harrison Stafford. who is in my opinion a very amazing dude. we talked for about 40 minutes and then I got ready and went to F.H.E which was friendship dinners. My host was Whit Bradford. on the way to his house I stopped at Kroger to get some salad and dressing. I ended up with the book House of Hades by Rick Riordan which I told my self I would not buy yet because it just came out. But it was on sale and if you know me you know that I cannot resist a sale. so I got it... along with box of sugar cookies. stinking impulse buying. after which I continued on to FHE where we had some fajita sandwiches. they were pretty fantastic. it was Whit, Mason, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Sarah, KC, Nick H and Maddi M. it was a great group. when I got there they were watching Lilo and Stitch. we then ate food and played Harry Potter scene it. which was fun. I then went to work. At work we started with our nightly meeting where our supervisor informs us of the days production and safety concerns and such things that we might need to go over for the night. I was placed on the NutWeld job which consists of three main tasks of keeping 2 lines full and filling a 3rd bin with a predetermined number of parts for the night. I also trained a new hire. she was pretty good and caught on fast. during break times I "tag out" some other job since mine is not a A-priority job ( its a C-priority not Uber important.) I go to the new job and fill in while they are on break. the person I relieved then goes on break and when its over they tag out then next person who breaks then comes and tags me out finishing the cycle for the rotation. its pretty great. I then got to work with one of my coworker who was all caught up on his job and came to help me on mine. I had one of the best Missionary experiences since I have been home. he asked a lot of great questions which left me thinking and I will be looking into more of what I can do to share my beliefs with him. I doubt he is interested in the gospel just curious. but you have to start somewhere. we talked about the law of chastity and the word of wisdom. we also touched briefly on prophets, grace, faith, and being saved. it was pretty awesome. I always forget how important sharing the gospel is. it helps you understand and learn and grow in your own faith when you share it. I must work harder to have more such conversations. well it is time for me to jump into my nice warm bed and cuddle up in my feathers and sleep the day away. have a great day who ever you are. I hope you have enjoyed some random ramblings.

Thursday 10/10/13
it is Thursday, I got home from work this morning and I ate tortilla and cheese. I then took a shower and read some books, City of Ashes Cassandra Clare, and The Fallen by Thomas E Sniegoski. both of them are interesting. not sure yet if I am a fan of the writing styles but who knows. I fell asleep around 11:30. I woke up about 5:15 thanks to a wake up call from my best friend. I will be getting ready to head to Institute in about 15 minutes. my days go by way too fast now that I work nights. I need to figure out the perfect sleeping schedule so that I am not tired at work but still have some kind of a day. well that is all I'm gonna write for now. have a great day!

One Year
Well it has happened. this year has gone by and I have lived in Tennessee for 12 full months. things have come and gone and people have come and gone and life just moves forward. how is it that some things can never seem to change but others can't stay the same?? I mean come on almost every thing I love changes and the things I hate stay the same. I guess that is life in general and that we just learn to roll with the punches or we get knocked down. I have had a fantastic time out here and have learned so much. I have made so many awesome friends and have had so many fun experiences. one day I will add pictures and tell some of the stories but right now I have to go to bed as I am currently working night shifts and it is way past my bed time. I just wanted to post a little something to help commemorate this day.

General Conference
Well It has been a long while since my last post, I have decided to write some more. Since my last post I have been busy working away my life and trying to find time for friends and family.
Our little YSA Group has become a branch. 2 weeks ago we received a Branch President and councilors. We are hoping that now that we are official that we can get a lot more of our inactive singles back to the ward.
Right now I am sitting on a couch listening to the Prophets of the Lord. President Uchtdorf is speaking about darkness and light and the ways we can find the light and be a light to others.
As usually I will ramble and not make much sense and the order of my thoughts will be all over the place. but for some reason I feel I must write.
it is 4/7/13
which is the 6 Month mark of me being out here in TN. its pretty crazy how fast time flys. I wonder where I would be in Utah if I had not followed the promtings of the lord and moved out here. I have grown a lot and have helped others to grow in ways that I never could have imagined. I have been struggling with what I want to do with my life and what profession I should seek and I have yet to decide but I find that I am getting closer to what I am to do.
I am looking forward to going back to school I just have to set a goal and a date and a place. I also need to start saving money for it. it seems every time I get a little cash saved up something big shows up and eats it all.
Okay I just got done reading what my last post had to say. I finally sold my contract after 2 months of living out here, I am now living in a house with Justin, Haydon, Nathan, Scot. its a nice house. The roommates are like any other, some days you love them some days not so much. but thats life in general. I am currently looking for a new car as Randy can't pass emissions. I am looking at an Audi TT its up in Lebanon. I am going to go test drive it tomorrow. Work is going good its getting busy again. I have not been home before 5 in the past 2 weeks. but they pay makes it totally worth it.
I really don't have much more to Type right now so

TN
Its that time again when I have a random desire to post about my life on the World Wide Web.
have you ever wondered why its called a web? Do you think it has any thing to do with the fact that you get trapped in it for hours before you finally finish what ever it is you were doing? it seems to me that most people who use the web don't really know how to use it. Take me for example, the only things I do on-line are Facebook, Gmail, Netflix, and Youtube.
ya that usually sums up all my time online.
back to the title of this post...
Last time I checked in was back a few months I think... actually I have no idea when the last time I wrote on here was.
I moved from Provo to Nashville. I am currently trying to sell my apartment contract in Provo and find a new one out here. I work for a pest control company doing the Tec work. I pretty much spend all day walking around customers houses 3+ times. looking for spider-webs, spraying the foundation, and granulating for fleas, ticks and ants. I wake up at six and then I leave for work around Six Fifteen. with traffic on a normal day it takes me 80 minutes to go 30 Miles. its quite entertaining, not.
tonight I am doing my laundry and getting ready to fly to vegas for my friends wedding. I'm super excited. although its now midnight and I am not sure how happy I will be as I am staying up way to late... any who... what am I talking about?? oh ya the Job. I work with three other service pros and then we have two ladies in the office as well as a branch manager and a service manager.... they are all pretty cool.
Each day we go into the office clock in and then grab our routes and fill up our trucks with chems we then type in the first address into our handy dandy GPS units and head out. we usually have any where from 12 to 18 services each day. today I had 14 but picked up 2 extra. I had to reschedule my last one as I got stuck in traffic and it got to dark to work. my production score is going to take a hit from that. oh well.
well the washer is done for the 3rd time tinight and my fingers are protesting. I will have to write more again some time. ... ya like that is going to happen. HA.

A Long Time.
Okay world, It is time I started writing again, it has been a while and I have no excuse for not writing.
here is a quick summery of what I have been up too.
I still work at Ikea, I work from 8-4:30 Mon-Friday. its been really good. I'm getting lots of hours and have made some great friends there and have learned a little more about patience with customers and a little more about customer service in general.
nothing exciting has happened in my life. well at least that I can think of right now.
I will have to fill in back story as I remember it.
Today I worked then I came home went to the bank changed my address then, went to the store and picked up some much needed groucrys and then was going to go to the gym and do some laps but it was so packed that I decided I didn't want to go. I then came home and got ready to go to FHE at my old bishops house. Sister Bishop is so awesome and always makes me feel so awesome. she is an amazing woman.
today seems to be a turning point in my life and I think its going to be a good one. I have had a few things happen this past weekend that have kinda hinted at a point of view change that I have needed. Life is good Life is Great and Life is what we make of it. If your not satisfied with how things are going then change them. its that simple. super easy. My mom has been telling me that for years and I never seem to apply it. I am now applying it. and I can already feel the difference. I have already made some choices that will help me be happier in the long run. I love my family so very much and am so blessed that they are mine. I know that if I really needed something I could turn to any of them and they would help me. I need to do a better job of making sure they know I would do any thing for them.
its important to know who will always be there for you and who you just can't rely on. well I think that will do for tonight. I will work harder at keeping up with this blog. I know i've said that before and its been an empty promise but I will try this time ;)

3/25/2012
so I couldn't think of a cool Title for this post so I went with the fail safe, the date. boring yes.
today I worked. it went by pretty slow for the first little bit then picked up and then slowed down. I am enjoying the job still but dang do I feel drained when I get out.
I'm sitting here right now wanting to go to sleep and its only eight thirty six. kinda crazy.
for food today ( you prob don't care but I'm gonna share) a blueberry muffin and orange juice, then a cup of hot chocolate, a smore flavored pop tart and a cinnamon roll. so healthy.
I should be working on my English paper that is due Tuesday but I'm not finding the motivation, I think I will try looking for said motivation again on Facebook... It should be somewhere on there right???
well its now time for ward prayer, I guess I should go socialize a little bit tonight. make my evening a little better. night blogging world. Untill I need to find a place to procrastinate again!

ever going onward flowing.
Hello, today is feb 24th. its dark out side and I am awake. not cool. people should not have to wake up until the sun has had a chance to make the world warm. I started working on a revision for my English paper but its not going very well. I wish I new how to study better. Its a surprise reversal paper which is pretty easy, but I'm having a hard time reversing my thoughts. I'm about to head over to a friends house to give her a ride to the police station to get some paper work for her visa, which is pretty awesome. she is going to Brazil. I'm also looking for another job as Ikea is just not providing me with enough hours. I applied to the mid time position but they said I have to wait two weeks to find out if I will get it. I can't afford to wait that long. I hope I can find a better closer job. I need to try a little harder. well I'm going to jump into the shower right now. I might blog again later but we shall see.

Back to school.
Okay I am back in school at uvu and am in the middle of writing a paper for my English Class but thought I should take a moment to write to my followers (all 4 of you) and let you know that I am still alive, barley.
work at Ikea has been going great, I close a lot so my evenings are pretty ruined but that's okay as I'm not one to part much.
I went on a date the other night and we went onto BYU campus and tossed homemade parachutes off a 4 story building. it was pretty fun, at least I had fun. I'm not sure my date had as much fun. we then came back to my apartment ( Moon D4) and made and ate raspberry muffins. they were pretty tasty.
I'm sad I didn't hear from Parker yesterday and hope he is doing well.
well I need to finish my paper and head up to campus to print it out. I will try harder to write more often I might even get some new pictures up some time.
Blog ya Later.

So, MineCon has started today and I wish I was there meeting all the important people who have created this game. but alas I am poor and have no money.
I should be making breakfast so that mom and I can get to work on the basement as it is still a huge mess.
we haven't even touched the shed yet.
I have a stake dance tonight up in Provo. I will be taking a girl Named Jessy, she is from great Britain she is pretty awesome.
Madison and Duncan are still sleeping and mom is talking to Parris on the phone. some things just never change. which can be a good thing. I am just a little jealous that they get to sleep in till all hours of the day but I never got to when I was growing up.
oh well. that's life right? the older kids get the strict rules and the younger ones get the relaxed you'll live rules.
the weather out side is pretty nice as of right now. its a little windy but it should "blow over" haha.
well I am going to make some eggs and cheese to put on some tortillas.

Dear Blog,
sorry I have abandoned you for the past few months, life has been crazy.
I have been introduced to a new game called Minecraft and it is "Flippin Sweet".
I had my Friend Scott Holt set up a server and now Stephen wall, David Wall and my self are all playing on the same world, its pretty addicting.
also I have moved from the Glenwoods since our last encounter, I now live in the Moon apartments just one block south of campus, its great, the ward is fun, I am still trying to get to know all the people in the ward,
the ward consists of the Moon apartments Building D only, and a bunch of random houses.
each house has its own name,
such as " the big house" "the brown house" "that house" "corner house" and a few others, I think all the houses are guys only. which is kinda funny.
this past week I decided I would get out and date, tonight I am going to see the play the "Drowsy chaperone" with a girl from my ward Named Ashley Hasna, it should be fun. I will post pictures if I remember too :)
Tomorrow night is Friday and I am taking a girl from the Glenwoods to BYU's "world of Dance", I hope it will be good.
right now I am working, or rather should be working on the MCS orders that come in on Wednesdays, they are a list of about 100-150 schools out in Memphis TN, MCS stands for Memphis County Schools, these orders are a real pain because there are so many of them and the customers never order on the correct days, we always have to modify the accounts to make sure the customers will get the correct product.
these are not the worst though,
the worst Orders are the OCPS orders which are the Orange County Public Schools, it seems like the people in Florida( Orange County in FL) are stupid. I would not send my kids to school down there just because of the problems they have placing their bread orders.
they never order on the correct day, they use the wrong product codes and they don't put the orders in a format that is understandable. its rather aggravating.
I almost quit twice this week because of those orders. I am still considering quiting but the problem would be trying to find a job that pays as much.
I think I just need to take the pay cut and move on.
I also need to get back into School but am hesitant because last time didn't work out so well.
well its been about 15 minutes of wasted time. I should get back to ordering. I will write more later if I remember too.

Expiration dates.
Okay so today while at work I go to the vending machine which gets reloaded EVERY week right?and I buy some potato skin chips. Which are normally very very tasty.
↓↓↓↓

and as I take the first bite, I think, this bag tastes weird.... and then I think wow this tastes stale..... and then I look at the expiration date, its 02/09/2010 . one of the most nastiest chips I have ever eaten. I am going to keep them and give them back to the Vending machine man and demand my money back. I spent a dollar on these stupid chips. I am wondering where the heck they came from. who in their right mind would try and sell chips this old? ugh nasty. I keep having the taste come bubbling up. yuck.
well that is all I have to report for now.

Wheel of Time update
Okay so I restarted the W.O.T saga, I am on page 123 and Rand just found out he is adopted and that he has to leave the two rivers with Matt and Perrin to save the the Villages. pretty crazy at the detail that Robert Jordan put into this first chapter.
I will try to keep reading and update every so often.

Day off.
This week for my day off I talked Ben into going down to the Hot pots in Meadow, it was a blast. He picked me up from work we then went and picked up some fins from Target and then headed to Kanosh. we Picked up Jessica Wall and Shelly R. two girls from Fillmore, Justin Wall had to work and couldn't make it.
we spent about two hours out there swimming around. when we first got there. a couple was swimming around but when we pulled out the fins and goggles they got out and left :) so we had it all to our self's :) after staying in the big one for about forty minutes we went out to the bigger ones and played around. the wind was blowing and it dried us off pretty fast. it was a very nice day.
on the way down to Kanosh we hit a piece of metal and it took a nice big chunk out of Ben's exhaust pipe. pretty ridicules.
after the Hotpots we went to Kanosh and stopped at Moms house and changed clothes. we then headed to Fillmore and had a hot dog and marsh-mellow roast in the Walls back yard. after we ate and it was dark Justin and I played cops and robbers with some of the neighbor hood kids. it was pretty darn fun :)
Ben and I ended up leaving around eleven.
it was a wonderful summer day. I wish I would have taken pictures. I need to start doing that. it would be nice to have pictures to post along with my boring words.
well that's all I can think of right now.

Day off, camp out, trip to vegas.
okay so Tuesday morning I got up at five thirty and went to work after work I hung out with one of my good Friends ,C.P, we went for a walk and talked about life, girls, and school.
after that I booked it to Kanosh got my sleeping bag from moms and then went down to Manderfield where I met up with D and his scout troop... after I got un-lost :)
when I got there the kids were just finishing up random skits. it was pretty funny.
we then got the camp ready for sleep, cleaned up the cooking area put fishing poles away and made sure every one was going to be warm enough. in the morning we got up at about six fifty and had flag ceremony after that the boys got into swim trunks and did a "polar bear" swim. the water looked really cold. D stayed in for a while but then climbed out as last time he did this swim he got hypothermia and didn't want it to happen again.
I then had to race back to Kanosh and pick up Mom and we went down to Vegas to pick up her new van, we got to Vegas around one pm Nevada time Mom had an appointment with DR. Royal. after that we went to the guys house to pick up the van he was supposed to be there at four but he wasn't, we waited for about 45 minutes then he finally showed up and he was driving Mom's Van. he was supposed to have had the windshield fixed but "didn't have time" he even drove it 1,000 miles after Mom Paid for it. stupid man.
I then got lost trying to find the windshield replacement place and we missed our appointment. Mom's I phone screen then got magnified and wouldn't go back to normal. so we went to Verizon store to see what they could do and they said they couldn't fix it and that we should go to the Apple store so we did and the tech guy came out and said hit the screen twice with three fingers and every thing will go back to normal. it was that simple. so we went back to the gas station where we left mom's van got it checked the fluids and filled up on gas and headed home. it was 9 o'clock by then and we got to Kanosh at one ish. I then continued on to Provo, mom gave me a caffeine pill that I was told to "nibble a little bit off if you get tired", at about 2 I was really tired so I pulled out the pill looked at it and said its really small why the heck would I nibble it if I can just eat the whole thing. so I tossed it back and bottomed up my water bottle and about half an hour later I was wide awake. it lasted till about eight the next morning. I didn't sleep that night. I cleaned my apartment and did my laundry and then watched Netflix till five thirty when I headed to work. I then worked all day came home and took a three hour nap then went to a Johnathan Jones concert with my good friend "B.K" it was pretty fun. oh and as I was pulling into the Glenwood parking lot that night at three thirty in the morning my exhaust pipe fell off. it was perfect timing. and a huge blessing. I am now back on my bike until I can get it fixed. I have a friend working on it who used to work at an auto body shop before he moved out here. another blessing some one who knows what he is doing. its times like these that I miss Karch.

Wheel of Time.
Okay so I am going to re-read the Wheel of time, Starting tomorrow.
its one of my favorites and it has been a while since I read the first one. Two of my friends have already started.
now I get to play catch up :)
weather here is kinda blustery and I never know what each day is going to bring.
Sun? Rain? Snow? Hail? how about a twister?
who knows. what ever the weather May be.
today was gray and overcast and I woke up in a bad mood. I worked, I ran some errons and picked up a free CD/DVD shelf, not sure what I am going to use it for since I only own two dvds and a few cds. how well, I will see what can be done with them.
I did my laundry and surfed the web. I found this awesome site-https://taverentees.com/threads/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1
If any one reading this wants to be my Best BEST Friend then please buy me one of these shirts...

New Car!
Okay well here is what's new, I bought a car. a nice little Toyota Paseo, its a 1992, it has 196000 miles gets good gas mileage so far, I am going to be taking it to Kanosh this weekend. we will see how it drives.
I noticed this morning that it pulls to the left. I need to have it aligned. I also need to have a chip in the windshield fixed. and then it needs to pass safety and emissions.
which was going to be tight on the wallet but thank you government for taking to much out of my pay check and thank you for giving it back, I will now be able to fix every thing on the car with out having to worry too much about spending too much.
I am thinking its going to be a good car.
I need a name for it though. it came with a name but it just doesn't fit....
funny story....
so I have been on a bike and bus for the past many months right?
I have not been tardy to work in four months.... and then the day after I get a car I am tardy. how lame and embarrassing is that?
plus to day was the mark for when I would be able to have two more points pulled off my record.
I will write more later.

In a Nut Shell
today is Tuesday. this past week end I went to Overton for Jaren Gates home coming talk. I left on Saturday. I took the Aztec shuttle, it was nicer then the st George shuttle but the running times are less flexible. so it has pros and cons. I think next time I will be taking the st George shuttle just because the run times are better.
So on Saturday I had Parris take me to the shuttle stop got on and drove the five hours to ST. George, Nadia was planning on coming and getting me but was not able to so she had one of the guys from the singles branch pick me up. his name is Allen Fabbi. he is a cool kid. getting ready to put in his mission papers just waiting for a few more interviews.
the shuttle got in to ST. George at about six thirty and Allen showed up around seven fifteen. After we got back to the valley I dropped my stuff off at Treve and Anna's where I spent the weekend. I got to play with Sophia for a little while it was great. I then met up with Barbara Becker at Maverick and after purchasing some sugar and caffeine we went over to Chase Hauvers new apartment behind the Overton Post office. we sat and talked till about eleven thirty about old times it was pretty darn fun. Sunday morning I woke up at nine thinking it was ten and got ready for church. I then realized that I was going off of Utah time and played with Sophie for a little bit. I then walked down to the Overton Chapel for Jaren's ward. he gave a great report. he has changed a lot in the maturity level but he is still the same old Jaren.
we then went over to his house for tacos and salad. we then watched some old movies that Chase,Jaren,Patrick Hull,Brad Bloodsoe,Dustin Spreuge, and Oliver Hauver made back when they were 12-14. it was pretty fun to watch. we then went to ward prayer and had cobbler for dessert, afterwards we stayed in the Gym and played line tag, Smurfing, mafia and freeze tag. It was a really fun evening. Monday Morning Chase was kind enough to take me to the shuttle drop off in ST. George, at Five AM. he is my hero. I had such a hard time staying awake. I then Rode the shuttle to meadow where I met up with Mom Madison and Duncan. I bought two Work and the Glory books from DI for Madison, I was able to give those to here while the shuttle stopped for a break in Meadow.
When the Shuttle got to Orem, I waited at McDonald's for the 830 Bus and took it home. I then lazed around the apartment for a while and eventually went down to the hot tub. it was great. FHE got cancelled and so I watched NetFlix all evening.
at about ten Parris Texted me and asked if I could follow her to Lindon to drop Darla off at the Auto Shop so that her Header could be replaced. we drove up there and as we neared the exit parris took off in front of a car and I missed the exit. I then went to the next one and flipped around. we then drove back to her apartment and I rode my bike home. I went to sleep at about twelve and got up at five and am now at work.
I wake up between 4:45 and 5:05 and catch the 811 bus at 5:26 I then ride my bike from the UTA Transfer station to work and usually get here around 5:40.
I then wait about ten minutes for people to show up and then the drama starts.
So far today its been okay.
I mostly sit and wait for any questions to come in.
and that is my weekend in a nut shell.
a pretty big nut shell if you ask me.
so I wonder why we use a nut shell to summarize the size of a story.... why not a pea pod?
what other small Item/container type thing could we use to summarize the size of a story?.
well that's all I got for now.

Long weekends
Is it just me or does it seem like you need a vacation from your vacation? I really am sick of traveling I used to think it would be fun to have some kind of job that would take you all around the world or all across the United States, I have come to the conclusion that I would not like it in the least little bit.
I Just got back from Nevada for the fifth time in a month and a half, I hope its a while before I head back down that direction.
It was so good to see friends that I have not seen in a long long time. It was nice to feel at home again.
well the weather is clearing up so I am going to go on a bike ride.

Random
Well I have changed my schedule back to six am to two thirty pm, I now need to find a second job so I can start making money that will stay in my savings.
I went to the hot tub this after noon and just relaxed, it was great. now I am going to go to the office and grab a cookie.
oh dang, the cookies from Glenwood office are just perfect don't you wish you were here so you could have a Nice warm Chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven? well for all I know you could be eating one now, or even something better( not many things are I can only think of a few) The ladies in the office make a new batch every twenty minutes or so. the cookies are so very satisfying. I have had two today.
As I was eating the cookie I walked around and took some snap shots of the place. I like it here, I guess I must since I have been here for a year and a half.
the weather today isn't the best but its nice to get some clouds every once in a while.
I love the smell of rain, there is just something about the smell that is so unique. I have yet to meet some one who doesn't like the smell of rain.
work was okay today I got to do some research for my superviser and listen to some calls to find out if our agent did what she should or if she messed up. from what I found out she did pretty good.
not sure what else to talk about now so I am going to upload some pictures. see if I can get this figured out.
here is the hot tub that I spend a lot of time in. I love this thing, you hear the most strang and interesting stories from people sitting in here. its a lot of fun. although some things just shouldn't be talked about.... any where...
here is a picture from the back side where there is a pond, I wish they would put some gold fish in the pond but one of the office ladies said it would kill the fish.

a different angle on the hot tub

here is what was left of the chocolate bowl....
the rest of it made it to the floor :)

here are some pictures of parris as she was making dessert for dinner group, she was trying to make some chocolate shell bowls for some Ice-Cream, we used to make these during our fancy Valentines dinners. :)
this first picture is right after we melted the chocolate and parris started dipping, the chocolate was just a little too hot and the balloon popped.
and thats all that I have for today.

addictions and idiots
Okay so at work today I was asked by a girl if she could throw up on me....what a great start to the week, and then she starts whining about how she is left out of instantchat messages because she is not a senior agent any more....Then I had this conversation with another agent which follows.I have changed the names for privacy sake...also if this ever gets to someone from work It can't get back tothe agent I am talking about....we have been asking the IT guys at work to Give access to four agentsso they can access a folder full of Excel spread sheetswith customer information on them. Its been months and IT has not done it for us.They FINALLY got it for three of them but not "guy#1"(8:10 AM) Guy#1: guess who still doesn't have J drive access haha(8:22 AM) Me: I will kill some one to get you j drive access.(8:23 AM) Me: I AM going to kill some one maybe that will hurry them up.(8:23 AM) MrsMental: Why are you going to kill?(8:24 AM) Me: because people are stupid.(8:25 AM) Me: meaning they say they will do some thing and then don't.(8:25 AM) MrsMental: Oh no.. Was it me?(8:25 AM) Me: If it was I would have told you. It's IT with the stupidJ drive access issues.(8:27 AM) MrsMental: I'm surprised that mine is working finally.some times I wonder if the agent is really mental....this job can be so fun some times and so aggravating the rest.I woke up on time today and am in a pretty good mood.which is way nice as it is a Monday.I do need to make a dentist appointment as well as do some shopping. Its going to be a long day.I also should go to the gym as well as FHE.busy days are good days. I hope this week goes by fast.I can't wait till February, I get a whole week off as well as going to a monstertruck jam with my Dad and a few of my brothers.it should be awesome.Okay we have a slight problem... I am an addict and I need a hit!it has been over a week since I have read a book and I need some suggestions....I like mystery fantasy and historical fiction, actually I would take anything right now. My tooth
Dear blog readers guess what! My front tooth just got chipped pretty darn good. I was at one of my mission buddy's and he decided it would be fun to eject shells from his twelve gage shot gun and one hit me in the mouth. It feels weird.
well I went and had the dentist fix it for me. he did a pretty good job too. below are the the before and after pictures. It feels okay now that my nose and upper lip have feeling again. besides the drill the feeling and tingling that happen after the Novocain wear off is, I think, the worst part of going to the dentist.

New Year
Well its another year and its already flying by. why is it that time has to hurry on? We can have moments when it feels like time has slowed down, but all in all time is always rushing on.

Today.
To do or not to do. that is the question for today.
why is it hard to choose what to do. some one suggests something and you might consider it but then you think about it and you decide against it. but then as the time for what ever it is your thinking about gets closer you start wondering if you should do the thing or just let it go.
on the one hand you might regret not doing it but on the other hand it might not be worth doing...
Today I was invited to go to a masquerade dance in sandy for tomorrow night. The invitation came from a coworker but it was more of a " some friends of mine are going and we need more people do you want to come" kind of invitation. I have asked a few of my friend's and no one wants to go. I really don't want to go with people from work as they are not the greatest kind of people.
oh well I will sleep on it and see what I feel in the morning.
Tonight Stephen, David, Brewer and Emilee all sat around the kitchen table and played with the Neo Cube, it was way fun to watch.
those magnetic BB sized balls are so much fun to mess with.
Tonight on the Bus two guys got on while the driver was taking a break in the transfer station and when the driver got back on the bus he went around to every one to make sure they had passe's or tickets and when he got to the two guys one of them had a pass but the other one had "left his pass and they needed to go back to the dorm to get it so couldn't the driver just get him home so he could get his fare?" I was laughing so hard on the inside.
It was a great excuse and pretty creative.
I mean asking for a free ride so you can "come back and pay for the ride later" is a pretty cunning way to try and beat the system. the driver was able to talk the guys into getting off the bus with out any major problems. at the same time part of me wonders if those two guys actually thought the driver would fall for it. I mean you in a college town, who is going to come back and pay for a ride after they get dropped off? ya thought so not very many. especially if they are wearing earrings and have Mohawk's.
for some reason those two things tend to scream " Don't Trust Me".
the weather has warmed up just a tiny little bit. the snow is starting to melt but not by much. I am sure there are going to be a few more frozen puddles to worry about tomorrow.
well it is getting late. time to end for another night.
take care until next post.

Christmas and a little extra
Well first off its been a while and I apologize for not writing.
I really don't know where to start, well just before Christmas the family (Mom, Dad, Parker, Maddy, Duncan and Parris) came up and we went up to the polar Express which is in Heber Utah, (normally the Heber Creeper) It was way fun, we had some interesting Helpers on our car.
they had Parris and Madison in tears, the helpers were a little "special" the one was very feminine and his partner was just slow...
the femme helper was prancing and skipping and half the time you couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl the slower one was giving out name tags and when he was filling out Madison's he told her to spell it out slow so she started spelling it slow. M.... A.... and he looks up and say s go faster so she did D..I..S and he looked up again and said I am not that fast. (or some thing along those lines. I got it second hand I just remember looking over and seeing her and Parris almost dieing of laughter) he finished the name tag and moved on down the train.
They handed out cookies and Hot Cocoa it was tasty and fun. Santa got on the train halfway down the tracks and handed out little tops that you spin by squeezing between thumb and fore finger, I got a red one.
That night Parker and I spent the night at aunt Shelly's house so that we could ride with their family down to Lilly's Funeral, it was an eleven hour drive down there. We packed seven people in a little car that only had 5 Seats, up to salt lake where we met up with Anna and Josh, Aunt Shelly and Jenni got in with them and then we headed to Cali.
we got to Keri's house at about five fifty ish, we had dinner which was really good ( Lunch meat on Rolls) it was provided by some family friends.
we then watched a Christmas movie about making sure to Focus on the real meaning of Christmas then we helped fold and tie ribbon on to the programs for the Funeral, after folding two sheets of paper together we tied ribbon and a little fight cancer charm or pin to the ribbon. The Programs were very well done. after we finished that we went to the hotel where Parker, Kendall, Spencer and I shared a room, I slept on the floor because I thought Daniel and Mikey were going to be sharing with us. when I woke up the next morning I found that Spencer had had a bed all to himself :/
we then met up with Dad who had Driven all through the night to get there on time,(which I am glad he was able to make it with plenty of time to spare)
we then had lunch and headed back home. it was another eleven to twelve hour drive back. it was quite a trip. I really enjoyed it.
some time later in December the family came up to do some shopping so that Madison ,Duncan and Mom could all have beds before Christmas as they have been sleeping on air mattress's. We went to Ikea and had a really good time. we then headed up to salt lake and saw the Lights at Temple Square for about ten minutes and then they closed it down so we had to leave :)
Christmas was good, Parris and I went down to Mom's and Dad and the kids came up from Overton. Aunt Robin and Uncle Gary also came to Mom's.
It was really good to see them again after 9 years. Aunt Robin and Uncle Gary got each of us a nice comfy blanket with our Initials on them, as well as Gift Cards to Target.
Santa Brought each of the Boys a Cross bow and Darts,(SOOO MUCH FUN!) we took them out past the cemetery in Kanosh but it was really foggy so we really didn't get to shoot them much.
When I got home I realized I had a nice box Full of old Calendars that I could shoot it was thick enough that the darts wouldn't go through and it was big enough that I can't miss it :) I have been shooting it at random times through out the day, I am getting pretty good at it now :)
I also got the Game Curses, a Grooming Kit with old style shaving cream including the soap and Brush to make the foam, as well as a popcorn maker and A Neo Cube, I will post pictures soon of all my awesome Gifts. Thank you family for another Great Christmas. it was wonderful.
It is now my bed time but I will try to write more often as I have a little more to cover.
any way good bye for now!

A day at work and other stuff.
Sunday it snowed. it was cold. we got about four inches of snow total, the tempature went up on monday but then plummeted again last night. waiting for the bus is not quite as fun as it used to be. the other four people who are regulars at the bus stop have stopped talking, its so cold no one wants to open thier mouths as the air is sooo cold at seven in the morning.
every morning I wake up around six fifty and get dressed do my hair brush my teeth and then head to the bus stop accross from the glenwoods to catch the 811 bus at 7:12 am. I then ride that bus up university parkway to the university mall and the walk from the mall through the costco parking lot and over to dialogue-marketing.
here at work we have about eight to ten of us in the mornings and then about twelve to fifteen of us in the afternoon.
right now we have six people who are, what we call Shadowing, they process the orders while the more experienced agent watches to make sure they are doing it correctly.
Some people have attitude which throws a wrench in the process, we have decided on a code to tell who is causing problems, so that my supervisor can take care of it, one girl is called code blue. and a guy is code pink. The girl is manly and the guy is girly.... its kinda funny, Code blue has more attitude problems and code pink causes more drama, work is kinda riduculas.
its been busy the last few days Probably because of the holidays.
Thanks,
Colton.

Winter
It's that time again, snow, ice, cold, wind, hot cocoa, hunkering down under a blanket, soup, movies, sledding, skiing, snow boarding, car wrecks, Christmas present shopping, family, travel, and much much more,
its been snowing here in Provo since last night luckily it has not stuck yet. but the news guy said its supposed to snow a lot this week. Mom has gone to Pittsburgh for the week so I get to drive her car to work Monday through Wednesday, so that should be nice. I am not happy about the cold though, waiting and then riding the bus are not going to be much fun. any way, I need to get going, till next time.

this week
I am so tired today, I wish I would have gone to sleep on time last night like I knew I should have. I woke up at seven and got to the bus stop at seven ten.
it's raining today and I had to walk to work from the university mall, it wasn't very bad it would have been worse if I had been on my bike.
on tuesdays and thursdays its going to stink when there is snow but oh well that is life I guess.
11/12/10 I am sitting in a dark room while my roommates act like little children and having a power struggle, its lame. who knew guys could be just as dramatic as girls, even more so in some ways.

I am listening to Pandora right now and it seems to be lifting my bad mood a little.
Its really crazy how music affects us.
what are your favorite kinds of music?
what do you like to listen to when your sad or lonely or angry or hurt?
some times I wish I had another me to talk to. some one who is not me who could take what I say and understand in the exact same way as my self. The worst part is I know there is not because that is not what life is about, its about learning to live with others who have different thoughts and feelings so that we can all learn from each other. But man it gets lonely.
any who. share your thoughts on your favorite music when and where you like to listen to what.

TIME
time seems to be going faster and faster these days. its already time for me to start thinking about what I am going to get people for Christmas and where I am going to have turkey dinner and all the other holiday stuff.
you know life has been crazy, I think about what it was like when I was little and what its like now, and I can't help but feel that the world has lost a lot of whole ness, I mean we now have some great stuff but at the same time we have lost a lot of what has made life great. its kinda amazing to see the history of the scriptures repeating.
we start off poor get blessed become rich and prosperous and then we get pride-ful and greedy and morals drop, we crash and burn and then we become poor again and we then become humble and get blessed and then we become rich... etc etc.
I can honestly say I have seen the trend in my life. I just need to work harder at staying humble.
its Friday already and I just know this week end is going to fly by. what should I do to make it worth while? I am going to a movie tonight with my roommates and I really need to do my laundry. I need to clean my room study my scriptures and then study some math. I should write letters to my missionary friends and cousins. I should call my family and see how every one is doing. I want to go to the hot tub and soak, I want to buy a nice bicycle and ride it up the Provo canyon, I need to fix my bicycles so I have some thing to ride to work Monday morning. I want to find a good book to read. I want to cook some thing amazing and feel accomplished. I should exercise....
lots of wants and shoulds and need to's.
I should also upload lots of pictures. I have a few from Halloween that should be shared.
well its time for me to get off work. I will write again some other day.
Colton.
Date, and stuff.
Yesterday was amazing, it was half way through the week, plus I was able to go to the hot tub for an hour and then I went on a date with Kjirsten Dunn,
at the stake Halloween dance I had a little turtle that I got from work. some time during the dance I lost my little turtle named frank, he disappeared, I thought that I had just lost him and that I would never find him again, on Tuesday when I got on my first break at work I got on facebook and what do I find? A picture of my turtle hanging over a pot of boiling water, with a threat that if I didn't supply the kid-napper with some moon-shine then I would never see my turtle again, and he would be boiled into turtle soup.
I don't have any moon-shine that is ready to be consumed yet, so I was able to negotiate a deal of dinner and a show in place of the moon shine, One of the girls at work performs in plays and ballets and invited me to one of the shows. so I decided that would be a good date. after the show we went and ate at Guru's cafe, as we were standing in line an item came on the screen that said good karma pasta. the name caught my eye so we ordered it not knowing that it was a veggie pasta.
It was pretty tasty. I was impressed with it.
after that we were walking back toward the glenwoods what Kjirsten informed me that she had put her five dollar bill in the bus machine instead of the one that she was supposed to.... we then walked to a gas station to get slushy and then we walked back to the glenwoods. and she got in her car and left. it was way fun. I had a blast!

This Past Weekend,
On Friday my Mom Came and picked up Madison and Duncan from youth conference at Aspen Grove. they came and got me after work and we went to Parris house and hung out with her for a few hours Mom said she was going to go wash the car and came back with a completely different hair style :) she went and got her hair cut. after she got back they took me to the malt shoppe where I met up with Mindy Mo, Molly Mo, Emma, Whitney, and Jenna, it was Jenna's birthday and we all met up to surprise her. we sat and talked for about half an hour and then the twins showed up they had been at a wedding reception for one of their friends in salt lake.
after the twins got there we got some ice cream ate it and then left. on the way home we were sitting at the stop light across from Glenwood and while we were waiting, I used my back pack and started to pole dance for Jenna it lasted about two seconds then I got embarrassed and climbed down.
I then waited for Tricia at the light. we then walked back to the Glenwoods and got David wall, we then took the cardboard stripper cake that Tricia and I made over to Jenna's apartment and I popped out of it and danced and sang happy birthday to her. it was pretty fun :)
after that we got on a computer and watched different You-Tube Videos for about half an hour to forty five minutes. then we went back to building one, Tricia went and took a test, David, Stephen, Colby, Brewer, Emilee and I watched Iron Man 2. Tricia was able to make it about half way through the movie.
Saturday,
I woke up about eleven thirty. went to the hot tub at twelve, went and took a shower then went to ShopKo where Sister Kristine Dunn gave me an Eye exam as she is an optometrist, she went to school with Larry Davis, she said I have 20/15 Vision and that I have a slight astigmatism. but its nothing to worry about. she also told me that there really was no need to have my eyes checked in a full exam and that I should save my money for some thing else.
at about eleven I realized that I had not heard from Kjirsten or Brandon about break the fast so I called both and found out that Kjirsten was shopping right then, she didn't buy chicken so I went with her and we walked around in Wal-Mart, we then came home and she left, I then stayed up till two playing final fantasy 9, i then went to sleep and woke up at 10:00 to get ready for ward correlation meeting at 10:30.
after the meeting we had church and then after church we had activity's committee meeting that lasted from 3:30 till 5:00 Parris then came and picked me up and we went to Aunt Charline and Uncle Burl's for FHE, Daniel and Meagan Chapman met us out there. we Played Mexican train for about an hour and a half then we came home. I made it to ward prayer at 9:00. then after ward prayer I was talking to Kjirsten and Tricia we then spent the next hour looking for Kjirstens car keys. her mom had to come unlock her car door. so she could drive home as she left the keys in the car.
I after her mom dropped off a second set of keys she left and then I went home and watched two episodes of NCIS Season 4.
Ryan Gifford Came home and we stayed up till Two talking.
Now I am at work, Dead Tired, and Worried about the stupid math test I have to take tomorrow night.
Oh well. work is slow which is really nice.
Since today is Columbus day half the call center got it off. My frontier team and I did not. even tho its super slow.
there have not been very many orders. and I doubt there has even been one phone call.
I want to leave work early today but I don't think that will happen. I did get Friday off so that I can go with Parris on Thursday to Overton to see Tyler and the family before they all move to Missouri.
I would love to take tomorrow off as well but I need the money really bad.
I should probably try to do some thing productive.

Random awesome Dream
My Dream last night,(9/29/10)
I was driving with the twins ,(Steven and David), Brewer and Emilee in a canyon late at night when David hit a metal beam that was in the middle of the road we flipped and rolled into the canyon wall, then David decided to drive backwards Because it would be safer after a while we then drove off a cliff and into a lake where we got stuck on an island. There was an abandoned shack on the island that we couldn't get into Brewer then made a fire and we dried off. we spent the night and the next day on the island late the next afternoon a guy in a boat came and got the twins, Brewer and Emilee and took them home. I Didn't go because I had to find Parris, Treve, Parker, Madison and Duncan. I went swimming and found out that I could breathe under water A gold fish caught my attention and I followed it down some hidden pipes. I climbed out of a water grate and into a room where I Found parker, he told me every one had been kidnapped because we all had super powers, he had super hearing and could make any Any thing out of metal. Then I found Treve chained to a wall because he was super strong. A lady came into the room and Parker, Treve and I tied her up and put her in a closet. Then we found where Madison and Duncan were being kept we took out the guards and we made our way out of the building as we were coming out the door the bad guys who kidnapped every one were getting out of cars and heading toward the building. It was raining and I was able to freeze the
The rain and make them all fall down. Parris got out of a car and came and stood next too us. one of the bad guys sent electricity through the ground toward us. I tried to stop it by pushing it away with the water in the ground and called to Parris for help.( her power was she could amplify other super powers Only she wouldn't help me. I was able to hold it off for a minute but then the bad guy sent the electricity toward Maddy and she through up walls of dirt around her to stop it. Duncan, who had electric powers too, called Lightning out of the sky and threw it at the bad guys. While they were distracted we got into one a car and raced away.
I still don't know if parris was good or bad.... it seemed like she was on the bad guys team because she was with them and was not tied up and because she would not make me stronger to fend the kidnappers off.
that was one of the most detailed dreams I have had in a long while. It was awesome. :)
any who.
hope you enjoyed a look into my dreams.
sleep good and happy dreaming.

Ramblings
So today has been strange. I woke up awake but drained. not sure why. Maybe it has some thing to do with the fact that Stephen wall thought it would be fun to wake me up at midnight and tell me it was six o'clock am..... then Jerome came home at one and was singing loud enough to wake a horse from the dead, or so it seemed because the house was so quite. I love my roommates to death but man am I tired today.
I have class tonight but am not to excited about it. my teacher has issues he swears and every thing he teaches us he acts like we should know it already.. but that's the reason we are in the class, to learn. oh well.
last night I went to the hot tub and found one of my mission Buddy's there with one of his friends. it was kinda cool. you meet the most random people in that hot tub.
I also saw two friends down there and found out that they are getting hitched. I am so happy for them. Its not public knowledge yet so I can't name names but they know who they are.
also they are getting married on my birthday how awesome is that?
congrats you two!
www.dearblankpleaseblank.com is my new favorite website. next to stumbleupon.com and mylifeisaverage.com it is pretty darn awesome. I totally suggest that you go check out all three of them.
Right now my life is kinda stalled. I have hit a wall and don't know how to climb over it. or maybe I see the steps up it but am just to scared to see whats on the other side.
on Sunday I rode my bike up the Provo canyon and saw a chipmunk running around I also found a pond full of gold fish. it makes me wonder what other places I would enjoy visiting but have not taken the time to explore. it seems people are always trying to go some where far away when some of the best things are right here around you.
if any one reading this is ever bored give me a call or send me a text. I would love to go exploring around Provo.
I really need a new job. I am about ready to shoot my self from sheer boredom, and the continued stupidity of those I work with. so if you know of a place that is hiring and pays around eight fifty to nine an hour I am all ears.
does any one have any good suggestions on books that I could read? I am a book aholic and have not had a good book in about two weeks. I can feel the with-drawls coming on.... please save me....
also what is your opinion on the hunger games ending? Personally I think the author could have had a longer ending and explained what happened to the people after Katniss did what she did. I was so disappointed that there was no explanation on how the government changed.... not in depth at least.
who has read The Wheel of Time books? any one know when the next one is coming out?
I also wonder when the next Eragon book is coming out. its been a while....
well I got homework and sleep to catch up on.
Talk to you later.
