My tooth

Dear blog readers guess what! My front tooth just got chipped pretty darn good. I was at one of my mission buddy's and he decided it would be fun to eject shells from his twelve gage shot gun and one hit me in the mouth. It feels weird.

well I went and had the dentist fix it for me. he did a pretty good job too. below are the the before and after pictures. It feels okay now that my nose and upper lip have feeling again. besides the drill the feeling and tingling that happen after the Novocain wear off is, I think, the worst part of going to the dentist.

well I am glad that my teeth look semi normal again. I am now off to break in my new front tooth.

New Year

Well its another year and its already flying by. why is it that time has to hurry on? We can have moments when it feels like time has slowed down, but all in all time is always rushing on.

Today.

To do or not to do. that is the question for today.

why is it hard to choose what to do. some one suggests something and you might consider it but then you think about it and you decide against it. but then as the time for what ever it is your thinking about gets closer you start wondering if you should do the thing or just let it go.

on the one hand you might regret not doing it but on the other hand it might not be worth doing...

Today I was invited to go to a masquerade dance in sandy for tomorrow night. The invitation came from a coworker but it was more of a " some friends of mine are going and we need more people do you want to come" kind of invitation. I have asked a few of my friend's and no one wants to go. I really don't want to go with people from work as they are not the greatest kind of people.

oh well I will sleep on it and see what I feel in the morning.

Tonight Stephen, David, Brewer and Emilee all sat around the kitchen table and played with the Neo Cube, it was way fun to watch.
those magnetic BB sized balls are so much fun to mess with.

Tonight on the Bus two guys got on while the driver was taking a break in the transfer station and when the driver got back on the bus he went around to every one to make sure they had passe's or tickets and when he got to the two guys one of them had a pass but the other one had "left his pass and they needed to go back to the dorm to get it so couldn't the driver just get him home so he could get his fare?" I was laughing so hard on the inside.
It was a great excuse and pretty creative.
I mean asking for a free ride so you can "come back and pay for the ride later" is a pretty cunning way to try and beat the system. the driver was able to talk the guys into getting off the bus with out any major problems. at the same time part of me wonders if those two guys actually thought the driver would fall for it. I mean you in a college town, who is going to come back and pay for a ride after they get dropped off? ya thought so not very many. especially if they are wearing earrings and have Mohawk's.
for some reason those two things tend to scream " Don't Trust Me".

the weather has warmed up just a tiny little bit. the snow is starting to melt but not by much. I am sure there are going to be a few more frozen puddles to worry about tomorrow.

well it is getting late. time to end for another night.
take care until next post.

Christmas and a little extra

Well first off its been a while and I apologize for not writing.
I really don't know where to start, well just before Christmas the family (Mom, Dad, Parker, Maddy, Duncan and Parris) came up and we went up to the polar Express which is in Heber Utah, (normally the Heber Creeper) It was way fun, we had some interesting Helpers on our car.
they had Parris and Madison in tears, the helpers were a little "special" the one was very feminine and his partner was just slow...
the femme helper was prancing and skipping and half the time you couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl the slower one was giving out name tags and when he was filling out Madison's he told her to spell it out slow so she started spelling it slow. M.... A.... and he looks up and say s go faster so she did D..I..S and he looked up again and said I am not that fast. (or some thing along those lines. I got it second hand I just remember looking over and seeing her and Parris almost dieing of laughter) he finished the name tag and moved on down the train.
They handed out cookies and Hot Cocoa it was tasty and fun. Santa got on the train halfway down the tracks and handed out little tops that you spin by squeezing between thumb and fore finger, I got a red one.

That night Parker and I spent the night at aunt Shelly's house so that we could ride with their family down to Lilly's Funeral, it was an eleven hour drive down there. We packed seven people in a little car that only had 5 Seats, up to salt lake where we met up with Anna and Josh, Aunt Shelly and Jenni got in with them and then we headed to Cali.
we got to Keri's house at about five fifty ish, we had dinner which was really good ( Lunch meat on Rolls) it was provided by some family friends.
we then watched a Christmas movie about making sure to Focus on the real meaning of Christmas then we helped fold and tie ribbon on to the programs for the Funeral, after folding two sheets of paper together we tied ribbon and a little fight cancer charm or pin to the ribbon. The Programs were very well done. after we finished that we went to the hotel where Parker, Kendall, Spencer and I shared a room, I slept on the floor because I thought Daniel and Mikey were going to be sharing with us. when I woke up the next morning I found that Spencer had had a bed all to himself :/
we then met up with Dad who had Driven all through the night to get there on time,(which I am glad he was able to make it with plenty of time to spare)
we then had lunch and headed back home. it was another eleven to twelve hour drive back. it was quite a trip. I really enjoyed it.

some time later in December the family came up to do some shopping so that Madison ,Duncan and Mom could all have beds before Christmas as they have been sleeping on air mattress's. We went to Ikea and had a really good time. we then headed up to salt lake and saw the Lights at Temple Square for about ten minutes and then they closed it down so we had to leave :)

Christmas was good, Parris and I went down to Mom's and Dad and the kids came up from Overton. Aunt Robin and Uncle Gary also came to Mom's.
It was really good to see them again after 9 years. Aunt Robin and Uncle Gary got each of us a nice comfy blanket with our Initials on them, as well as Gift Cards to Target.
Santa Brought each of the Boys a Cross bow and Darts,(SOOO MUCH FUN!) we took them out past the cemetery in Kanosh but it was really foggy so we really didn't get to shoot them much.
When I got home I realized I had a nice box Full of old Calendars that I could shoot it was thick enough that the darts wouldn't go through and it was big enough that I can't miss it :) I have been shooting it at random times through out the day, I am getting pretty good at it now :)
I also got the Game Curses, a Grooming Kit with old style shaving cream including the soap and Brush to make the foam, as well as a popcorn maker and A Neo Cube, I will post pictures soon of all my awesome Gifts. Thank you family for another Great Christmas. it was wonderful.

It is now my bed time but I will try to write more often as I have a little more to cover.

any way good bye for now!
