Time Travel and other night time thoughts.

So last night at work as I was loading the rear floor panels into their robots to be welded, I started thinking about time travel and where I would go and what time I would visit. Then I started thinking about what would happen to me if I did travel back in time at this exact moment. how would I survive? what would I do first? try and get home most likely. but how would I do that? if I couldn't find a way back how would I survive? I know almost no useful skills that don't require some kind of technology. As I was pondering my lack of skills I started thinking about my current moments of life and realized that if something tragic happened today and we lost power, I would be in serious trouble. I have decided that I will start doing my best to learn how to take care of my self and others in an emergency situation and long term areas as well. but where does one turn for such learning? how about the Zombie apocalypse survival guide? ya i didn't think so. I will be headed to the book store this weekend to look for a book on how to survive natural disasters and other catastrophic situations. we never know what tomorrow will bring.

its pretty fun to see my train of thoughts at 4 am. well I guess its time to hit the sac.

New Home

Well the move is complete. I am now in my own apartment with everything I could want.... well except dishes... and a couch... and a table.... okay okay so not completely moved in. but I have internet and tv and all my books. I am a happy camper.

I think Sam is really liking the sun coming in the front window. I know it been a while since he had last been out in it.

I still need to do some shopping and collect the other things that I will need to live comfortable day to day life. but as of right now I am just happy to be done moving and settling in.

I hope that work school or what ever it is you do is great on this overcast day and that you find joy and happyniess. I most certainly will :)

no wait, what? really? cool.

Well Last night was pretty awesome. It started with me waking up at 415 and laying in bed till about 515 then I got up and skyped with my friend Harrison Stafford. who is in my opinion a very amazing dude. we talked for about 40 minutes and then I got ready and went to F.H.E which was friendship dinners. My host was Whit Bradford. on the way to his house I stopped at Kroger to get some salad and dressing. I ended up with the book House of Hades by Rick Riordan which I told my self I would not buy yet because it just came out. But it was on sale and if you know me you know that I cannot resist a sale. so I got it... along with  box of sugar cookies. stinking impulse buying. after which I continued on to FHE where we had some fajita sandwiches. they were pretty fantastic. it was Whit, Mason, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Sarah, KC, Nick H and Maddi M. it was a great group. when I got there they were watching Lilo and Stitch. we then ate food and played Harry Potter scene it. which was fun. I then went to work. At work we started with our nightly meeting where our supervisor informs us of the days production and safety concerns and such things that we might need to go over for the night. I was placed on the NutWeld job which consists of three main tasks of keeping 2 lines full and filling a 3rd bin with a predetermined number of parts for the night. I also trained a new hire. she was pretty good and caught on fast. during break times I "tag out" some other job since mine is not a A-priority job ( its a C-priority not Uber important.) I go to the new job and fill in while they are on break. the person I relieved then goes on break and when its over they tag out then next person who breaks then comes and tags me out finishing the cycle for the rotation. its pretty great. I then got to work with one of my coworker who was all caught up on his job and came to help me on mine. I had one of the best Missionary experiences since I have been home. he asked a lot of great questions which left me thinking and I will be looking into more of what I can do to share my beliefs with him. I doubt he is interested in the gospel just curious. but you have to start somewhere. we talked about the law of chastity and the word of wisdom. we also touched briefly on prophets, grace, faith, and being saved. it was pretty awesome. I always forget how important sharing the gospel is. it helps you understand and learn and grow in your own faith when you share it. I must work harder to have more such conversations. well it is time for me to jump into my nice warm bed and cuddle up in my feathers and sleep the day away. have a great day who ever you are. I hope you have enjoyed some random ramblings.

Thursday 10/10/13

it is Thursday, I got home from work this morning and I ate tortilla and cheese. I then took a shower and read some books, City of Ashes Cassandra Clare, and The Fallen by Thomas E Sniegoski. both of them are interesting. not sure yet if I am a fan of the writing styles but who knows. I fell asleep around 11:30. I woke up about 5:15 thanks to a wake up call from my best friend. I will be getting ready to head to Institute in about 15 minutes. my days go by way too fast now that I work nights. I need to figure out the perfect sleeping schedule so that I am not tired at work but still have some kind of a day. well that is all I'm gonna write for now. have a great day!

One Year

Well it has happened. this year has gone by and I have lived in Tennessee for 12 full months. things have come and gone and people have come and gone and life just moves forward. how is it that some things can never seem to change but others can't stay the same?? I mean come on almost every thing I love changes and the things I hate stay the same. I guess that is life in general and that we just learn to roll with the punches or we get knocked down. I have had a fantastic time out here and have learned so much. I have made so many awesome friends and have had so many fun experiences. one day I will add pictures and tell some of the stories but right now I have to go to bed as I am currently working night shifts and it is way past my bed time. I just wanted to post a little something to help commemorate this day.

General Conference

Well It has been a long while since my last post, I have decided to write some more. Since my last post I have been busy working away my life and trying to find time for friends and family.
Our little YSA Group has become a branch. 2 weeks ago we received a Branch President and councilors. We are hoping that now that we are official that we can get a lot more of our inactive singles back to the ward.
Right now I am sitting on a couch listening to the Prophets of the Lord. President Uchtdorf is speaking about darkness and light and the ways we can find the light and be a light to others.

As usually I will ramble and not make much sense and the order of my thoughts will be all over the place. but for some reason I feel I must write.

it is 4/7/13
which is the 6 Month mark of me being out here in TN. its pretty crazy how fast time flys. I wonder where I would be in Utah if I had not followed the promtings of the lord and moved out here. I have grown a lot and have helped others to grow in ways that I never could have imagined. I have been struggling with what I want to do with my life and what profession I should seek and I have yet to decide but I find that I am getting closer to what I am to do.
I am looking forward to going back to school I just have to set a goal and a date and a place. I also need to start saving money for it. it seems every time I get a little cash saved up something big shows up and eats it all.

Okay I just got done reading what my last post had to say. I finally sold my contract after 2 months of living out here, I am now living in a house with Justin, Haydon, Nathan, Scot. its a nice house. The roommates are like any other, some days you love them some days not so much. but thats life in general. I am currently looking for a new car as Randy can't pass emissions. I am looking at an Audi TT its up in Lebanon. I am going to go test drive it tomorrow. Work is going good its getting busy again. I have not been home before 5 in the past 2 weeks. but they pay makes it totally worth it.

I really don't have much more to Type right now so
