TIME

time seems to be going faster and faster these days. its already time for me to start thinking about what I am going to get people for Christmas and where I am going to have turkey dinner and all the other holiday stuff.
you know life has been crazy, I think about what it was like when I was little and what its like now, and I can't help but feel that the world has lost a lot of whole ness, I mean we now have some great stuff but at the same time we have lost a lot of what has made life great. its kinda amazing to see the history of the scriptures repeating.
we start off poor get blessed become rich and prosperous and then we get pride-ful and greedy and morals drop, we crash and burn and then we become poor again and we then become humble and get blessed and then we become rich... etc etc.

I can honestly say I have seen the trend in my life. I just need to work harder at staying humble.

its Friday already and I just know this week end is going to fly by. what should I do to make it worth while? I am going to a movie tonight with my roommates and I really need to do my laundry. I need to clean my room study my scriptures and then study some math. I should write letters to my missionary friends and cousins. I should call my family and see how every one is doing. I want to go to the hot tub and soak, I want to buy a nice bicycle and ride it up the Provo canyon, I need to fix my bicycles so I have some thing to ride to work Monday morning. I want to find a good book to read. I want to cook some thing amazing and feel accomplished. I should exercise....

lots of wants and shoulds and need to's.

I should also upload lots of pictures. I have a few from Halloween that should be shared.

well its time for me to get off work. I will write again some other day.

Colton.

  1. I definitely know what you mean about the $ trend. But, if we are humble the Lord will always bless us with the things that we need. When you do have more money than you need ALWAYS live within your means and only buy the things you need. I think everyone learns this lesson the hard way though...
